Challenge
The project required readable seasonal transitions and anamorphic depth on an ultra-wide display within a short schedule.
My part
- Planned and directed the concept, storyboard, and overall scene flow
- Designed the anamorphic bar that forms the 3D outer frame, and the Unreal Engine level around spatial depth
- Developed the flower-bloom system and built the opening wall fracture
- Placed the Niagara effects in the seasonal scenes and handled animation, lighting, and Sequencer work
- Finished the exhibition master through final rendering, sound, and color correction
Designing a space through the seasons

Timing seasonal transitions
I storyboarded the order of the seasons and the duration of each scene.

Seasonal changes with Niagara
Building on Chanwoo Joo's Niagara R&D, I tested the flower-bloom and wall-fracture effects, then combined Niagara, animation, and lighting in one Sequencer timeline.

Pacing and color across the seasons
Our two-person team produced the roughly 2-minute-50-second exhibition film at 4000×1560 and 24fps in three weeks. I reviewed the seasonal transitions and FX, then finished with rendering, sound, and color correction.

Exhibited on the first floor of Seoul City Hall from October through December 2024.
I composed the anamorphic structures and seasonal FX within a fixed view. In three weeks, our two-person team completed the roughly 2-minute-50-second ultra-wide exhibition film at 4000×1560 and 24fps.
