Razer Headset Motion Film
The headset's silhouette remains readable as green laser light crosses the frame. I made the film independently, from camera and lighting through post-production in After Effects.

Keeping the product clear in the dark

Silhouette and green laser light
I based the visual direction on keeping both the headset silhouette and green laser visible in a dark scene.

Camera angles that keep the product clear
I built the full 3D scene and camera animation in Unreal Engine, then tested angles until the product silhouette stayed clear.

Lighting for a clear product shape
I lit the edges and materials so the headset would not disappear into the dark. I placed and balanced the green laser so it did not overpower the product.

I added typography and compositing to the rendered product shots and brought them together in the edit.

Result
Completed a motion film that keeps the product silhouette clear alongside the moving laser.
I kept adjusting camera angles and light positions until the headset read first, even when the laser crossed the frame.
